All that will depend on your nationality and how many times you intend to cross the border. Depending on your passport it will cost you between $30 US and $50 US single entry for most nationalities, the rest being either free or upwards of $80 US for a single entry visa. Most activity suppliers include a 'day visa' waiver in the price. Make sure you check that if you are booking activities on the Zim side of the river.

A taxi from central Livingstone to the bridge/border should cost no more than $10US and is highly negotiable. Get dropped off at immigration and walk over the bridge. The centre of Vic Falls is a couple of hundred metres past the bridge. over 9 years ago

It also depends on how many pages you have in your passport available. I'm assuming you're a US citizen since you asked for prices in USD. I was there a few weeks ago, and the Zambia visas take up an entire page each. So if you're running low on pages, go with the double entry, it cost about $80. The Zimbabwe double entry was about $50.

As far as taxis go, there are two options. You can hire a taxi that has permits to operate in both Zimbabwe and Zambia. These are slightly more expensive, but they save you the hassle of having to hire three separate taxis: one from Livingstone to the border, one to cross the falls or walk it, it's about 2 or 3 km), and then a taxi once you cross into Zimbabwe (or another 1 or 2km if you're staying local in Vic Falls.

All in all, transportation should be fairly cheap, maybe $50 for the whole trip or $10-$15 each taxi. over 9 years ago
