You can do three things; take a day tour around the city, eat the local food which tastes wonderful by the way (Pho Bo and spring rolls a must-try) and shop at Ben Than Market where everything is cheap.
Enjoy your stay in the city! over 9 years ago -
You can take a trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels, the propaganda can be a bit overwhelming but still very interesting. You can also fire an AK-47 or a selection of other guns there as well, which is always fun! over 9 years ago

You can book a city tour (18 USD) or just take a taxi and explore by yourself.
Don't forget to try Pho Quynh ( 323 Pham Ngu Lao, District 1) Open 24 hours. This is local food, local shop. But they do have English menu. The price is listed. Don't worry. This is my Favorited shop when i was in Sai Gon
Pho Bo Tai (Beef noodle soup) – 40,000 Dong (2 USD)
Banh Mi Bo Kho – 40,000 Dong
Hot Coffee with Milk – 12,000 Dong
Don't miss Mekong Delta Tour. If you have time, book 2 days tour. If you have limit time, you can book a join tour at www.yourlocalbooking.com(Join tour: 25 USD/ 1 pax). about 9 years agoAnswered by Jennifer Ong viaWorldNomads.com
