Me and my mate are planning to drive all over vietnam on motorbikes, probably just keeping to the north more, but we dont know what we can do with our luggage, or where to keep it if we want to go hiking or something for a day...any suggestions?
Pack light, the moto driver will strap it to the bike somehow. And if you have a smaller backpack it'll.make.it.much easier. If you have a daypack you will wear that on your back. Heard its a great experience and would def recommend it. And pack light! And don't miss hoi an on your way north:) tailor shops galore! about 7 years ago
Take a carry-on bag and a day-pack. You should be able to strap the carry-on to your motorbike. Don't take anything you don't want to loose. Things that disappear in hotels: cameras, smart-phones, computers and CASH. Find your hotel for the night before you go exploring. Don't wait until the last minute to find a hotel. Most hotels of any * rating have a safe for valuables. Good Luck, Your Vietnam Tour Guide P.S. I've never had anything stolen in 10 trips to Vietnam. about 7 years ago
take carry one bag or pack with light clothes, strap to your motorbike -that's the way the locals usually do when they wanna go for a short trip in 2-3 days. Carry your valuable things around you (such as in a secure pocket or wrap around your body). Cheers and have a nice journey :) about 7 years ago
