Transport in Lang Son and Bac Son

about 4 years ago about Vietnam

My two friends and I wants to go to Lang Son and Bac Son Valley. We planned on travelling from Hanoi by train (is this the better transport as I read one can see beautiful sceneries along the way). Need to know if there will be a lot of walking esp up and downhill in Lang Son and Bac Son as my friends are elderly.

Lang Son is 154km from Hanoi, 48km from Quang Ninh, 55km from Cao Bang, 73km from Bac Kan.By passenger car : if you choose this way, you have to go to My Đinh, Gia Lam, Luong Yen Coach Station. If you miss a passenger cars, don’t worry because there are many other cars that on the same road to Lang Son whole the day!

By train : If you don’t like using passenger car, moving to the other way. Using Train is not a bad idea! You need to pay attention to route ĐĐ3 or HDR1: Hanoi – Langson – Dongdang. The train ĐĐ3 will depart for Lang Son at 6a.m and arrive Lang Son at 11a.m. The Train HDR1 will depart at 9:45a.m and up to 1pm you will have your presence at Lang Son. The tick train range from 80.000- 115.000 VND/ticket/ person and also depends on type of train and type of seat you choose. about 4 years ago

You can go by train or take a coach. But I think it's safer for you to move by train and its price is also cheaper than coach. almost 4 years ago
