Vietnam in September?

over 5 years ago about Vietnam

I'm taking 10 days to go to Vietnam this September, the most I can do and the only time I can go. I know it's rainy season, does anyone have any suggestions on the best places to go? I was thinking Hanoi and Halong Bay to start, as well as Sa Pa for the north. And HCMC and the Mekong for the south. But I'm not sure how these places will fare in the wet season...

September is not reccommend for Sapa, raining & wet. Hanoi, Halong Bay, Ho Chi Minh, Mekong Delta is fine, also rain but ok for tour. My family went to Vietnam last years, we were organized by Footsteps Indochina www.footstepsindochina.com quite good. good price, good service. They replied email very quickly

Beside your mentioned destinations, I suggest you to Ha Giang where has night market and ethnic market, season of purple flowers blossom on hills, and enjoy specialties in mountainous region. It is a great experience for those who want to discover Vietnam hiden beauty. over 5 years ago
