Haiyan super typhoon did not hit Central Vietnam and it was over. From Nov 19th to Dec 1st really great time to travel in Vietnam. Nothing happens in Hue and Hoian, Hanoi. Go ahead with your schedule.

I can also recommend travel in this period. I lived in Mui Ne and in my opinion it is the best weather of the year...November onwards till mid December as the winds are almost nothing....enjoy your travel... almost 5 years ago

I was there in early December and the weather was great except for one day in Hanoi when it got a bit chilly and I had to buy a jacket. People are friendly, food is great (especially the Pho) scenary fantastic. Loved the place almost 5 years ago

    Hi there,
Now, Hue and Hoi An was not rainy, and typhoon. I think you can travel in Hue, Hoi An, or Ha Noi at that point.
Good luck for you and have an exciting vacation in Vietnam.
