Book train to Sapa online for $80 return now or wait until travel agent can offer better price in Hanoi?
We are planning on travelling to Sapa from Hanoi in January 2013 and can only find train tickets online from about $80 but I've heard you can get tickets from a travel agent in Hanoi for around $10? Can anyone confirm this rumour? Or is it the same price and therefore better to book online so the train isn't full when we want to go? Thanks
Agree with above Tet is 23 Jan and dec to feb always busy, you need to book ASAP google seat 61- it the best train travel site I've found -as far as I know not associated with any travel agents and they don't sell tickets but give unbiased up to date train travel info

We offer return tickets for $70-$80 dollars depending on the train company they choose... www.trek.sapaochau.org
You can get cheaper tickets directly at the station in Hanoi, but there is no guarantee there will be availability. It is a very busy time of year now and will be busy all of January. Happy New Year! over 6 years agoAnswered by Sapa O'Chau via WorldNomads.com
