Whats it like to travel around Uzbekistan in December?
I am seriously considering a trip to Uzbekistan for about 10-14 days in the winter, mid to late December. Can anyone provide me some practical tips or direct me to websites about the country? what is a good suggested itenerary? I want to try to get off the (un)beaten track ... Any suggestions?

Yeah. Very good choice by yourself to trip Uzbekistan! In December you can go Tashkent our capital city, it's very beautiful, in there you must go to mountain named Chimyon. Amazing place I guess. And then to Samarkand our historical city. You can see there very beautiful places and historical places. Anyway very good choice. over 6 years ago

It will be very cold in December. I would suggest getting out of tashkent fairly quickly and going to Samarkand and Bukhara. over 4 years ago
