    La Perdiz it is nearby the Sheraton Hotel. Not too expensive, good food, good service and very nice ambiance. If you are planning to go 4 dinner on a weekend reservation is a must. Restaurants at the fish market are very "typical" but they rip you off. and u might get pick pocketed from locals all of them well known by the workers in the area. about 6 years ago

    Absolutely go for lunch to the Mercado in the old part of town near the port! Bring a hearty appetite! Fantastic atmosphere! about 6 years ago

    I agree with Ana alvarez La Perdiz is the best. You can also go to EL Fogon, a very typical restaurant. The parrilla is served there like in old days. I am from Brasil and I love this restaurant. almost 6 years ago
