thinking of a bicycle trip around Uruguay in dec. thoughts of places to be sure to visit or avoid? considering prices, i am thinking of camping, availability and safety of camping? road conditions? thanx for any suggestions recommendations advice :)

Uruguay is a nice country, but unfortunately they don't have bicycle side roads or side walks you can use. So when doing a bicycle trip you just can take the main roads to go from one city to another. So be aware of that.
The hottest month is January / February. That's also where most of Uruguayans make holidays. Popular places on the coast are Punta del Este, La Paloma, La Pedrera, Punta del Diablo.
