We stayed at the Hilton which is also across the road from Disneyland in 2005. It was allot cheaper than some of the smaller places which are directly across the road from Disneyland.
I don't know if it has gone up in price but it was a pretty good deal when we statyed there. All we did was walk out the back of the hotel cross the road and waited for the mini train to take us in to Disnyland. about 11 years ago -

You can also stay by Buena Park in the Knotts Berry Farm area. It's about 5 miles straight on the freeway to disneyland and many hotels have shuttles to and from. You can also check out Knotts then, and be within walking distance. The Courtyard By Marriott is a nice, safe hotel for singles or families in the Buena Park area.
And no, I don't work there, but I live close to this area. about 9 years agoAnswered by Eric Tiettmeyer viaWorldNomads.com

Red Lion and Holiday in are great 3 star properties that are quite close. You can walk in from Red Lion. They are well priced and have clean and confortable facilities. Most of them have a free shuttle bus as well. about 9 years ago

Thanks for the tips and hints everyone! I've booked the Marriott (surprisingly cheaper than other hotels directly opposite disneyland) and will either walk over or use the mini train that Rachel mentioned. about 9 years ago
