Seattle is a city of neighborhoods, each with its own character. Do visit the downtown Pike Street Market as it is unique for our country. Walk on the waterfront, go to the outdoor sculpture garden, Pioneer Square for historic buildings. Take a bus to Freemont for a fun, funky neighborhood with lots of interesting shops and cafes. A tour to Blake Island and the N.W. Native long house with dinner or lunch is also fun and informative. The Duck tour company offers a lively tour on land & sea along with "Quakers!" If you have time, get yourself to Mt. Rainier--wonderful! over 8 years ago
