We just stayed at the Silverado Resort and it was a nice place to stay. Some of the units are on the back side of the golf course and you must take a hotel shuttle to and from main area of resort. I would definitely request a unit in the main area. Also, this resort is located on the Silverado trail and is about a 10 minute car ride to Napa. over 8 years ago

We just stayed at the Westin right in Napa. They had beautiful rooms & a good pool with a nice view. It's walking distance to downtown Napa where there are a number of fine dining restaurants and a couple of tasting rooms. It's also 2 blocks or less from Gott's Burgers which is far more casual but excellent and a must go in itself.

There was some construction going on near the Wine Train depot across the street when we were there so I would just check to make sure your room is on the inner side of the hotel near the pool or on the far side away from the construction and you won't hear a thing. over 8 years ago

The Elm House in Napa is a smaller Inn in Napa. It is a short walk downtown for restaurant and shopping, which actually is great after a day of wine tasting. Don't be fooled into thinking that it can't be a nice place due to their low room rates. It is a great place to stay and always our first choice when staying in Napa. Their complimentary breakfast makes it an even greater value. almost 8 years ago
