What is the cheapest way to travel from Miami to New Orleans? Where is a safe, clean but affordable place to stay in New Orleans
A friend and I are flying into Miami 16th October, heading to New Orleans for a few days then back to Miami. We welcome any recommendations for cheap travel from Miami-New Orleans and back to Miami and also tips for accomodation in each place!!

Take Southwest from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to New Orleans. Cheapest airfare, hands down. And FLL is only 20 miles north of Miami, and easily accessible by Tri-Rail. over 11 years ago

I stayed at the Wave Hotel at South Beach Miami a few years ago. It's a cool, modern hotel on the south beach strip (Ocean Drive) with bars, restaurants and clubs nearby.

We recently stayed at the Quality Inn and Suites in downtown New Orleans. We were very pleased with the friendliness of the employees, cleanliness and condition of the rooms, proximity to places we wanted to visit and the very reasonable price. almost 10 years ago
