    Sedona is about a two hour drive and it is beautiful. There are a lot of hiking and mountain biking trails. about 7 years ago

    Depends what your fancy is. Sedona is gorgeous like someone already said. The Grand Canyon is a great getaway. I would suggest midweek if at all possible to avoid bigger crowds. Up a bit farther north is Antelope Canyon, which if you haven't seen, you must. Bring a good camera for that one. If you like rock climbing, Mt Lemmon by Tucson is great with over 2,000 registered climbs. Plus, when you're done with that there are a lot of restaurants with quality food there. If you like backpacking, Aravaipa Canyon is beautiful. For canyoneering, Salome Jugs by Globe is a fun weekend trip. For camping, there are lots of great spots in Tonto forest. Go up around Payson or Heber area. Payson area has I think 3rd clearest skies in the world for stargazing at night. over 6 years ago

    San Diego is great tons to do like Coronado Island, USS Midway Museum, Seaport Village, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park, Mission Beach is awesome too. If you get there go to Wavehouse. over 6 years ago
