wrong place for crabs, but lobsters, steamed clams and clam chowder are everywhere. the well known (and expensive) option, always delicious is Legal Seafoods, which has a dozen outlets around town. More interesting these days is Jasper White's Summer Shack, at the end of the Alewife line in Cambridge, or another one which opened recently in back bay near the prudential center over 6 years ago

If you want traditional sea food, hit up places near Fanuiel Hall area (near the waterfront), places like the Union Oyster House are classics. You have to travel to the North End (close to Fanuiel Hall and the waterfront) for food, it's the Italian section, you just can't go wrong (and of course stop for a pastry... Mike's Pastry or Modern Pastry are delicious). Some good sites to see would be anything on the Freedom Trail, all the historical landmarks. Make sure you see the State House with the Gold Dome, and the Public Library is always nice (the older part, not the new part). Other than that, just wander all over, maybe down Newbury Street to Fenway Park. You just can't go wrong! over 6 years ago
