Grand Canyon: the North Rim or the South Rim?
I'm planning to spend around 4 days visiting the Grand Canyon. First time. And I don't really know when I'll have a new opportunity. Should I plan to stay (and visit) the North Rim or the South Rim? Thks you all!

South Rim. Then, drop down through Flagstaff to Sedona via 89A - it's an unbelievable drive. Red Rocks of Sedona are spectacular and feature dozens of great hiking opportunities. over 9 years ago

I had never been to the north rim of the Grand Canyon, although I have been to the south rim many times. We decided to camp at the campgrounds at the North rim, we booked in March for the Aug trip. The campground is a stones throw from the rim, and spectacular views ( no railing so don't slip). I highly recommend sitting on the patio at the lodge and enjoying the view, as well as the walk to the Bright Angel point. I will return for a longer stay next time.
