We have been to Cape Cod often but are looking for unusual things to see and do this Sept. Also recommended restaurants.

I loved renting a bike for the day and cruising along the bike trails all through the cape! Also a visit to the National wildlife refuge near Provincetown over 9 years ago

We took a lunch cruise on the Lobster Roll. We actually had really delicious lobster roll for lunch. It is located in Dennis so I don't know how far you will be from that. You can pull up reviews and info on the Internet. almost 9 years ago

Not knowing when you'll be here during the month of Sept., or where you plan to stay, it's difficult to give any specific recommendations. But some of our favorite "non-touristy" activities include: crabbing, stargazing, campfires on the beach, cemetery walks (fascinating to read the 300+ year-old epitaphs and see the intricate headstone carvings!), kite flying on the beach, going to local fairs and festivals, and visiting local farms and gardens.
Hope this give you some more ideas! almost 9 years ago
