Will the lack of employees affect travel in the US?

    The chances of being killed in a plane accident in the US are about 1 in 14 million. Also, statistically speaking, you can be in 5 plane crashes resulting in what they call 'total hull loss' before you're in a fatal one - amazing!

    Given the odds are so astronomical, I don't think a few staff lay-offs will change it much. Plus I understand there's a last minute deal to save the jobs anyway.

    Its it definatly just a safe as it has always been to fly in the US, its just takes a little while longer now that there are less lanes open when you go through security! Especially now that they are using that new scanner. Just give yourself a little more time to get through security at the airport! about 9 years ago
