Here's a review I just did of Cajun Encounters...touristy, but we enjoyed it.

I prefer Airboat Adventures, done that one 2 or 3 times. But I've never been on any other Louisiana airboat tours. http://www.airboatadventures.com about 6 years ago

Do the Dr. Wagners Honey Island Swamp tour. I went once for Biology class at Loyola University-- it was amazing. It trumped all of the dumb and touristy "throw marshmallows at the 'gators so they become acclimated to humans and learn not to fear us" trips throughout childhood by way of Girl Scout outings and middle school field trips. Trust me, this one is worth it. You can just watch "Swamp People" on television when you get home if you need to see a cajun ham it up. about 6 years ago
