Staying in Vail Colorado for a week any suggestions on must see sites within a 3 hr drive in any direction
Consider Colorado National Monument in Grand Junction, a gorgeous rugged canyon area ( mini grand canyon!), Georgetown is an old historic western town, hot springs of Glenwood Springs, day trip to Steamboat Springs (rafting/kayaking) and Aspen. almost 6 years ago
Boulder.. Pearl Street Mall is a 4 block pedestrian mall, always lots of people, lots of buskers, musicians and street performers.. Lots of nice little restaurants and cafes for coffee, lunch or drinks.. You can hire bicycles from university cycles and go for a ride along the Boulder Creek Path.. Or if you enjoy hiking there are several trails going into the mountains and to several famous lookouts.. If you're there on a wednesday afternoon or Saturday morning the Farmers Market is held on 13th Street, lots of fresh fruit and veggies and food stalls and depending when you go there is also often markets held there or in Pearl Street.. Check out the sites below.
