Hey Nanda - This is a helpful link (http://nymag.com/visitorsguide/essentials/faq/broadwaytickets.htm), but I've heard the best thing to do is go to the Times Square box office early the morning of the show do get discounted tickets (http://www.tdf.org). Enjoy! over 6 years ago

Tkts at South Street Seaport has a shorter line then the one at Times Square. I always go there to get cheap tickets. www.tdf.org/Images/SouthStreet_tips.pdf over 6 years ago

Definitely stop by TKTS in either Times Square or one of the satellite spots (Downtown or Brooklyn). Another option is this AMAZING website I've been using lately: http://www.studentrush.org Just sign up for "The Will Call Club" and check back from time to time for $5 Broadway tickets (and others at great discounts, too). It's basically a free ticket but there's a $5 processing fee. Then you meet the rep outside the Starbucks on 45th St and Tada! $5 Broadway tickets!) I took my father to see Rain (The Beatles Tribute show) and we ended up front row & almost center for $10 for both of us. I treated myself to seeing Baby It's You last week for $5, too. I guess it's basically a seat-filler type deal but it sure beats paying $85 for the same seats! over 6 years ago
