    There are quite a few.
Blossoms downtown, around 22nd st and 9th ave. Check the address. The uptown restaurant was awful. Same owners but different menus. Also dirt candy on the lower eastside. There are many great vegetarian places throughout the city. Enjoy! over 6 years ago

While they are not strictly vegetarian, I would recommend the ethiopian restaurants in the city. I like Queen of Sheba or Meskareem (sp?) right around the corner. over 6 years ago

They are everywhere! Yelp lists a lot, no one would list the best because it's just impossible to try them all over 6 years ago

    So many good ones!

Candle 79 on 79th street just east of Lexington on the south side. It's a fine dining veg experience. The have another restaurant called Candle Cafe on 3rd avenue between 73rd and 74th I think. Very casual but cam be crazy crowded.

Pure Food and Wine on Irving Street is vegan and raw. The food is exquisite and a bit pricey. But it's a very special experience. If you can get a seat outside on their back terrace then do it. Simply gorgeous.

Terri on 23rd just east of 6th on the south side is perfect for grabbing something quick. It's also vegan--but comfort food. Best vegan meatball sun I've ever had. And try the Green Power smoothie. Delicious. over 6 years ago
