    Hi Gordon,

Im old school and generally budget to get the cab as it's a real schlepp in from the airport. Cabs are usually around USD$50 into town, then depending on where you're staying, it's an easy walk down.

There's also a range of shuttle services into the city, this site has compiled a good list of
    them - http://www.sftravel.com/airport_shuttle_san_francisco_city.html over 7 years ago

If you want to save some money, take the BART train from the airport into san Francisco, disembark at the Embarcadero station. Go up to street level and walk west one bl ock toward the big ferry plaza tower. In front, you can catch a MUNI street car F toward Fisherman's Wharf. Total cost is probably under ten dollars. over 7 years ago

Take an airport shuttle, though they'll probably drop you off last. Still you'll get to see alot of San Fran while the're dropping off clientele. Come to think of it, because I was staying at the hostel, I got a slightly cheaper deal however it is a comfortable, safe way to get to your destination. . over 7 years ago
