It depends on what you mean by value. If you want a good deal here are some tips:
    1) Check Travelzoo.com first. Hotels put their best deals on Travelzoo so there are usually some good deals.
    2) If you go to a hotels website be sure to check for Specials and Deals and if you have advance time sign up for email offers. Most offer at least 20% off weekdays through email most weeks.
    3) Look for ways to save on food and entertainment to get a better room. the Buffet of Buffets (7 buffets fir 24 hours) is a good example.

Tropicana recently remodeled but the rates are still very good. It is a good value now.

Palms is expensive but you get a good quality room just a little off the strip. Worth the price.

Monte Carlo has a nice casino and laid back entertainment and dining. Good prices most weeks.

Tropicana has good rates. I've been there before renovation. Two years ago I've stay at Luxor Hotel. It's a good hotel, good rates and good localization. It's better choose a hotel at Las Vegas Boulevard and you'll can go to by feet most places. over 8 years ago

Off all of the hotels i have been on the strip, i liked the treasure island, a lot good roomes in the middle of the strip next to the fashion show mall , for prices depends on the time of the year and if there are big shows in the conventioncenter, price check. Depends on how much you would like to spend. For 200 plus a night mandaly bay. For 150 I would say encore, 100 mirage for 65 I would say south point of golden nugget. These have the best value for the buck and the prices are average expect higher on the weekend. over 8 years ago
