Skiing in Vermont

almost 8 years ago about Vermont, United States

We are looking to go skiing in Vermont over Christmas. We went to Killington last year and had a great time. We are looking for a different mountain this year. Any ideas/suggestions on mountain to go to and places to stay would be appreciated.

I grew up skiing on Bromley Mt. Not as expansive as Killington. Manchester is just down the mountain with lots of lodging options for varying budgets. The Equinox in Manchester Village is gorgeous and a real indulgent treat for Christmas. The Marsh Tavern is a great spot for dinner or drink in front of the fire.
I spent one Christmas skiing Mad River Glen, great runs, and people were friendly and down to earth. I rented a condo, I think through VRBO. almost 8 years ago

Okemo is a really nice place and is in ludlow, Vt. Might be crowded. You might also want to check out a combination of smaller, local hills like suicide six and the Dartmouth Skiway over 7 years ago
