    Most definitely YES.....there are rattlesnakes in NJ. Don't see them often (twice so far this summer) but they do inhabit the central (Pinelands region) of the Garden State. over 6 years ago

    I would say so. 14 years ago I got bite while mountain climbing with the Boyscouts in Blairstown. I spent seven days in Newton hospital. I had heard that I was actually a one in 16,000. Rattlesnakes don't bite people unless they are cornered. I had placed my hand on top of him over 6 years ago
