The best Maryland crab cakes will not be in the Inner Harbor. Better to go a few blocks east to Obryki's Crab House or out a bit to Tark's Grill in Brooklandville, Captain Harveys in Owings Mills or G&M or Gunnings both near the airport. Phillips, in the IH, does not even use Maryland crab meat but machine picked Indonesian meat. over 9 years ago

I agree with most of the previous answer but Obrycki's has closed for good after 50 years. Also try John Stevens in Fells Point. G&M might be the best. over 9 years ago

Correction on previous post; Obrycki's will close in November 2011 after current crab season. It is worth visiting before it closes. over 9 years ago

Stony Creek Inn... It's not in Bmore, but it is down by the water and has great crabs. over 9 years ago

None of them. But G&M's in nearby Linthicum has the best crab cakes for my money! over 9 years ago

Try Romanos on Ritchie highway in Glen Burnie. Google them for directions. Good as G&Ms but much nicer place to eat with better parking. Get them broiled not fried! DELISH!! over 9 years ago

Gm is the only one I have tried and loved it. According to my friends, they love the crab and I love their vegetarian choices. over 9 years ago

Best crab cake in Baltimore is at Koco's pub on Harford road. Better than Obrykis and G&M for sure. over 9 years ago

I agree - stay away from Phillips. The rusty scupper has a great crab bisque but not the cheapest place to dine. Head to fells point for good crab cake sandwich and beer. over 8 years ago
