Spend a few hours at LL Bean. It's enormous and there are many stores then head to Haraseeket to get a fresh lobster roll on the water. Haraseeket is famous for their food and has been featured on the travel channel and food network a few times. You can also buy live lobsters pretty much off the boats here too. The outlets downtown are great and be sure to checkout Patagonia and The Maingey Moose or Cool-as-a-Moose for cool Maine souvenirs and clothing. over 6 years ago

Shop and eat .... Not much more really. There is a great Turkish restaurant in Freeport, calling itself Mediterranean Grill or something. It is the best food you can get here, and almostbthe only place where you can get something that is NOT fried! over 6 years ago
