Stop for great pizza and beer at Moose's Tooth off the Seward Hwy. Glacier Brewhouse is a great restaurant. Take a day trip through the tunnel to Whittier, and go kayaking in Prince William Sound. The Saturday Market in downtown area is interesting. Potter's Marsh on the outskirts of Anchorage is a nice place to view spawning salmon during the summer and early fall months. Hope you have a great time! almost 7 years ago

Drive just south of Anchorage on the Seward hwy along the Turnagain Arm to see Beluga Whales, Dall Sheep and the Bore tide! Also, Potter Marsh is on the way for bird viewing. Keep an eye out for moose and bear along the way too. :O) almost 7 years ago

Moose's Tooth and the Seward Hwy are musts. If you make the drive down the Seward, stop in Girdwood and eat at Seven Glaciers at the Alyeska Resort. It is pricey, but the food is excellent and the view is unbelievable. almost 7 years ago
