I'm so envious! I've only been to Chicago once, but it's a beautiful city. We stayed at the Fairmont Hotel and our room had a view of Navy Pier. We were able to walk to Millennium Park where you have to check out Crown Fountain and Cloud Gate (the Bean). There was also a fun outdoor restaurant in the park where you can play Cornhole Toss. If I had more time I would have checked out Lincoln Park & the zoo. Since it's summer you could take a sail boat ride on the lake! Enjoy!! over 9 years ago

Definitely do an architecture tour on the Chicago River…great way to see the city and learn about how it was built! Millennium Park has lots of free concerts in the summer which are also great to hit up. If you are looking for great deep dish, go to Pizza Due or Lou Malnati’s. And don’t forget to get the Chicago Mix at Garret’s popcorn—the line may be long but it’s totally worth it! over 9 years ago
