I think I mentioned this before. I didn't spend a tonne of time there however whether you're into it or not the Mormon Complex is well worth visiting, you might even hear a nice choirs performance. It is kind of the thing to do there since the Mormons and Salt Lake City are synonymous and is quite a large, varied complex and don't worry, they won't try to convert you when you're there. almost 10 years ago

The zoo and aquarium are both very nice. The aquarium is small and only takes about 2-3 hours to fully enjoy. The zoo is a bit larger and hilly in parts but has wonderful exhibits and is very beautiful. almost 10 years ago

Where are you guys staying? The Grand America is a great place for being downtown and having access to all kinds of activities. It is always my preference to stay there (and my grandparents are the ones who introduced me to it): http://www.grandamerica.com/ about 8 years ago

If you are in the mood for stunning nature views and bird watching, definitely try the Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake (it's about a 30-60 min. drive away from Salt Lake City, depending on where you are driving from). Views are stunning and there are buffalos and birds everywhere: http://transplantedtatar.wordpress.com/2012/09/26/into-the-dreamscape-of-antelope-island-2/ About an hour away from Salt Lake is my favorite wildlife refuge, Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, beautiful in any season: http://transplantedtatar.wordpress.com/2012/09/22/sunrise-at-the-bear-river-migratory-bird-refuge/ about 8 years ago
