late Feb. drive from DC to Pittsburgh, what to expect
about 3 years ago about Pittsburgh, United States
Visitor from Japan is planning to drive from Washington DC to Pittsburgh late Feb. Chance of snow storm or icy road condition is a concern. Please offer advice what to be careful about, thanks.

I lived for several years in the DC area. February is generally cold, overcast and damp with occasional snow and ice. When inclement weather does occur most areas have good snow removal equipment out in force. Weather radar coverage in that area is excellent so if you check that before you go you shouldn't be surprised.
Enjoy your visit. Much to see, do and eat in that area. about 3 years agoAnswered by Steve viaWorldNomads.com
