    Kalua pork (delicious)
Poi (ehhhh...but, a must try as it's such a local staple)
    Taro cake (yum!)
Shave ice (BUT ask around to make sure you are going to the best place...if you're in Maui, it MUST be from Lahaina Shave Ice as they are the BEST)

If you like fish? you have to go to any Foodland Grocery Store and find their Fresh Seafood Section and ask to taste the Ahi Poke, they will have several versions with Soy
Sauce, Spicey, w/Sesames, w/Onions, etc...Ono, means delicious in the Hawaiian Language. If you like the chewy texture, ask to taste the different Tako (Octopus) Poke also very ONO :).....If you happen to visit Maui, go to Hula Grill Restaurant on Kaanapali
Beach and order of Dinner Menu only their appetizer "Ahi Poke Tacos"...Yummalicious! about 10 years ago

Oh Ya! if you like Pork or Meat, find some fresh Lau Lau wrapped in tee leaves, peel the hot leaves off the meat and when you taste the hot pork in your mouth it will just melt like butter :)....
Yes, Shave Ice is the Bomb, ask if they have the Local Maui "Roselani" Ice Cream local
flavors and have a scoop of ice cream put in your Shave Ice, Yum!
The word "Ono" is also a very popular white fish served at most local restaurants. If they have fresh Ono on their menu, order it. It is my favorite white fish to eat in the world :) Onolicious! about 10 years ago
