If you're flying with Alaska airlines you can get a free lift ticket for the day in Alyeska Resort, just show your boarding pass in the tickets booth and you're in!
It has to be the same day you arrive for this to apply, and Alyeska it's only 30min away from anchorage.

Alyeska is the only resort in Alaska. Heliskiing can be done out of Girdwood or Valdez, both would be awesome. If you don't have a ton of cash though Hather's pass just north of Palmer has many really great snow shoe or skin up, ski down opportunities, and it is basically free. The snow is usually pretty good that time of year, and you can easily find a place where you are making first/only tracks, if you are willing/able to make some serious effort to get there. almost 4 years ago
