Camino de Santiago is planned to commence the end of August 2016 - how many miles a day is realistic for a athletic 60 yr old?
Camino de Santiago for the first time - looking for stories (good & bad). Looking for any helpful tips that would help me on my journey

There is a film - walk the Camino you should try to find and watch. It follows a number of walkers and provides some really good insights. If you are planning to do the whole Camino it is about the 700kms and people were taking 30 - 40 + days to complete it. Each stage of the walk differs in many ways - weather, hilliness etc, training, wellbeing - blisters etc. about 5 years ago

I'd like to do it by pieces because I have animals and can't miss a long time my home. Now I'm 54 near 55 and I shoud divide 700km in ten . 70km divide in about 6/7 days. I had a brocken knee so it could make me less tolerable to longer stretches.
