I grew up near Vancouver and was always lucky for the chance to visit the city. If you're going within August 16th to September 1st, go to the PNE, a unique fair and amusement park with plenty to do. Don't miss Granville Island, a market-like community home of the famous Granville Island beer. Plenty of cool little cafes if you walk around downtown long enough, Vancouver is also famous for its coffee and fresh seafood. Stanley Park can easily take up a full afternoon. If you're into nature you can always hike Whistler or do some mountain boarding, or spend a day at White Rock Beach for sun and swimming. The nightlife is also very busy, just ask locals to find sweet bars with local music. For a day of shopping try out Vancouver Island, just a short ferry ride away. Or take a whale-watching tour! Don't forget science world and the aquarium. almost 4 years ago

Thank you. I'm interested in seeing nature and thought we should stay on an island instead of the city, if so where? I appreciate your response. almost 4 years ago
