How bad is the hurricane season in Orlando?

Hurricane season runs June through November in Florida. Although Orlando is inland, it can get torrential rain and high winds from hurricanes. It's always a good idea to check weather info for Florida.. over 6 years ago

Overrated. Don't worry at all about hurricanes. Just check the weather routinely as you would do on any holiday/vacation. over 6 years ago

We've been to Orlando during August and yes, torrential rain...at times, usually once a day but can go on for an hour or so. Still managed to do everything we wanted and it didn't stop us. over 6 years ago
