Orlando and ????

about 7 years ago about Orlando, United States

We are going on for a company event and staying at a Universal Studios property and attending the Capital One bowl - this portion is paid for by the company and set.
Looking for suggestions on that "beach" location - I figured we needed to head south.. maybe Ft. Lauderdale?

We went to Cocoa Beach which is on East a little further south from Datona and Kennedy Space Centre. Beautiful beaches, uncrowded and if you go a little further down, Sebastian Inlet is absolutely stunning. about 7 years ago

Ft. Lauderdale is pretty far I believe. We stayed a little bit outside of Orlando in Kissimmee http://www.staycoralcay.com/location-directions/local-area-map-getting-here/ and I believe it's about 4 hours away. If you're looking for the beach Daytona Beach and Cocoa Beach are the most popular. They always have surf competitions at Cocoa Beach and fun festivals at Daytona. New Symra beach is one of my favorites!! http://www.cityofnsb.com/ Gorgeous sand and water! almost 7 years ago

Your best bet would definitely be Daytona or New Smyrna Beach (be careful with New Smyrna depending on what time of year you go - known for sharks!). I usually stay at http://www.hawaiianinn.com/ and I love it. Right on the beach, and you can actually drive your car onto the beach and park. Have fun! over 6 years ago
