    Ummm ... I'd avoid Times Square. It is stuffed full of tourists snapping photos of neon signs and of people wearing dirty stuffed animal suits.
    Walk to Central Park or Bryant Park and the NY Public Library "museum", or take the subway anywhere else.

    Must go to Ellen's Stardust Diner (we went for breakfast). Servers are VERY good entertainers trying to make it on Broadway, who sing/perform while serving. Lots do fun. about 5 years ago

    Get the Red bus tour. Takes you all over and you can get on and off where ever you want throughout the city about 5 years ago

    Times Square is cool, but crowded! It also definitely won't take a whole day! It's not far from the Empire State and it's also a quick trip up to Central Park or the museums. about 5 years ago
