    Not really a dedicated route, but if you parallel route 1 all the way, you will be riding right along the pacific ocean; spectacular views, plenty of campsites, b&b's, and pretty towns. Visit San Simeon/Hearst castle, monterry and Carmel, Cambria and Santa Barbara on the way. over 5 years ago

    My daughter rode her bike from Sacramento to la last summer. Came down hwy 1. They camped in state parks which have a hike and bike section. If you hike or bike in the rates are super cheap to camp over 4 years ago
