Don't plan on a long journey. After all, this is only a half day's drive. It's a very pleasant drive however. There's a nice kachina museum in Flagstaff. over 8 years ago

We stayed at the Amara Hotel & Spa in Sedona and loved it! Our room was huge with a big deck that overlooked the infinity pool and the red rocks. Our favorite restaurant was at the L'Auberge Hotel which is almost immediately next door. The dining area sits right on the creek and the food was top notch. Sign up for a Pink Jeep Tour one day while you are there. Night life is a little harder to come by in Sedona as we found most restaurants and bars tend to close rather early.

We did the same trip from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon and stopped in Flagstaff for lunch. It really is a cool little town and worth stopping in. over 8 years ago
