For a couple, so could be a studio apartment or one bedroom. Preferably close to Lexington avenue subway.

    Hi Ellie, I used AirBnB.com and got a great little apartment in Soho (tiny!..but still awesome), rates were reasonable as well. Just be prepared to make inquiries to a lot of places, even if they list as 'available', NYC is notorious for stating properties as 'available', but when they're only looking for long term renters. Keep trying, it's worth it. over 8 years ago

    I also used airbnb.com for my stay in NYC, I ended up in Brooklyn in a hipster warehouse loft apartment. Easy to use and reliable. I have travelled to 5 different cities around the world using them.
