There are several paid parking lots. You might be lucky & find on street parking but then you have to be careful to get back on time so as to advoid a ticket. You could also leave the car at the Seattle Center where day parking is usually less than $10.00 a day & take the monorail into town or ride a free Metro bus. about 6 years ago

I'll add to JoAnne response to tell you that Metro buses are free within the downtown core -- from Belltown to Pioneer Square. So I think her suggestion is a good one: park at Seattle Center in the large garage, then take the Monorail to Westlake Plaza (or walk it -- it's about a 20-minute walk) and walk to Pike Place Market. Walk down the waterfront from there to Pioneer Square (about one mile), or take the Metro bus if you're not able to walk. about 6 years ago
