    October, because it's cool enough to wear jeans, not too cold that you need to wear a jacket, and not hot & humid...the leaves (the few we have) are changing colors, there's apple cider in the farmers markets & everybody's seemingly upbeat.

    Winter's also great with the tree lit, ice skating & first snowfall. over 7 years ago

    Summer is hot, humid and horrible. Don't style your hair as it's a wreck once you hit the street. No joke. But NYC is great in the fall and at Xmas time and the spring too. Did I mention that in summer you are soaked as soon as you leave an air conditioned environment? over 7 years ago

    • it's really not all THAT bad...yes, it can get sticky but so what? every movie theatre, department store, museum and restaurant(s) are air conditioned..plus , you'll have much of the city to yourself.; lived here all my life and can attest to that. Joel over 6 years ago
