What's the best way for two over 60yr olds to get around in Los Angeles when they are only staying for 3 nights and staying in/around Hollywood?

Hire a car. If you're comfortable driving in the US, then in my mind its the only way to get around LA sadly. Public transport is a nightmare and you'll spend most of your time waiting in bus stops. over 6 years ago

Sadly, a car, though there is subway that connects Hollywood with downtown, and it's safe and efficient. Avoid freeways. I've always taken Fountain to get from Hollywood to downtown, or Sunset Blvd to the coast or to Silver Lake area. over 6 years ago
