I am traveling with my family (wife, a 10 year old son and 15 year old daughter) to the states particularly in Brea, California in Nov for a month. Pls suggest itinerary. We are already planning to go to places like Disneyland, Universal studios for the kids enjoyment. Thinking of also going to San Francisco and probably San Diego. Would appreciated if you could suggest an itinerary. Budget wise, we would like to keep it modest. Thanks in advance

Monterey is beautiful and you could take your kids to the aquarium there. It's a coastal town. Some off the most amazing scenery I have ever seen. almost 6 years ago

Rent a car and drive south on highway 1 and explore. If you like the beach, come to Santa Cruz. (about 1.5 hours of a beautiful drive) almost 6 years ago

In San Francisco, check out 'The Exploratorium'. In Santa Clara (1hr. south of San Francisco) there's an amusement park called 'Great America' that has some pretty crazy roller coasters. Your kids are a bit older and would like it. In Santa Cruz for amusement parks, there's 'The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk' which mixes an amusement park with the beach. Admission is free, but rides and other activities cost money on an individual basis. South of Santa Cruz is Monterey. There they have 'The Monterey Bay Aquarium'. It's a wonderful aquarium and is huge. If you drive south from there, you'll drive along the big sur coastline, which is stunning. All these things aren't cheap though. almost 6 years ago
