Is it difficult to drive in SF and LA?I might do my trip across California by car, but I'm afraid about to use the car in these big cities.
Driving in LA and SF

I take it you are accustomed to driving in a small community. Driving in LA mad SF is no more complicated than driving in any other big city. If anything, SF is more difficult to drive in than LA. While LA has brutal traffic on the freeways, the boulevards and city streets are generally wide and civilized. San Francisco not only has many narrow, hilly, one-way streets, but is also a very bike and pedestrian-friendly city, so you need to keep your wits about you and drive defensively.
That said, the California countryside is very much worth seeing by car, so I wouldn't let the stress of city driving turn you off of your road trip. almost 9 years agoAnswered by Meli viaAsk a Nomad iPad app

San Francisco is definitely the more difficult. You really need a car in Los Angeles so consider driving in LA and to SF then use public transportation when you need too. The drive along the California coast is spectacular. almost 9 years ago

Thanks both of you. Following your advices I'll try to drive around California and when I arrive to SF keep my car standing on the hotel I choose. And focus on this, If you could recomend me some hotel or singular place to stay during my trip in LA, SF and Las Vegas...I'd be very pleasant to you. Thanks again and sorry about my bad english. almost 9 years ago
