Can yo tell me about pre paid sim card options for USA and Canada
I am traveling to Alaska, Canada and mainland USA later this year and would like to know the best provider for mobile data. I have a Samsung Galaxy S smart phone and would like to be able to access the internet while im there. I dont require phone calling as such, more interested in the data (up to 2GB if possible).

Best Buy is a big box store with outlets everywhere. They have pre-paid cards and often sell cheap phones (I got one for $5 for my folks who visit the US alot). Best Buy may also have sim cards too.

AT&T in the US and Rogers in Canada use the same SIM card it might be possible to just buy one and change service providers as you go. I'm 100% on that but if you phone their customer service numbers you can probably have them answer that. Good luck! almost 9 years ago

Depends how much data you plan on using but you can rent a Mifi device which provides wireless data to your phone, iPad and laptop. There is an unlimited data version here http://www.cellhire.com/products/usa/usa over 8 years ago
