Try the coffee at Balthazar. Medium - Large size latte is served in a large bowl which resembles a soup bowl! Very interesting concept, delicious fresh French coffee.

Try out birch coffee it's on the expensive side but so worth it , they even have a little library where you can go up to and drink there

The Mud Truck is good (their coffee has a thick, bold flavor) if you come across it. On my visits to NY, I have caught it a few times in the Flatiron District and have been told that it frequently parks in the Financial District.
Porto Rico Importing Co. has a great selection of whole beans & if you bring your own cup, it's super cheap! over 6 years ago
